Preliminary Assessment

The iStutter Center provides a 30-minute preliminary assessment to adults who stutter or family members of children who stutter.
Firstly, one of our Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will confirm whether if the individual is in fact experiencing stuttering or if it is dealing with a different type of speech or language disorder.
If the diagnosis of stuttering is confirmed, the SLP will try to understand how it affects the quality of life of the individual and will discuss the strategies that can be followed to help overcome the main difficulties s/he faces.
Finally, the SLP will explain iStutter's treatment methodology for a better understanding of the potential of the therapy.
